Integrating SwipePay into WooCommerce

Introduction
WooCommerce is an e-commerce plugin that helps with online merchant-involved business transactions, it is a feature that is used along with WordPress. To integrate the SwipePay feature for use on WooCommerce, the following procedures must be followed:
- Download the plugin
- Install the plugin
- Setup and configure SwipePay on
- Register as a merchant
Downloading the Plugin
SwipePay plugin can be downloaded via three(3) methods:
- Firstly, it can be downloaded from the WordPress official page, by searching the keyword swipepay
Search the keyword swipepay
- Secondly, use this link which downloads it directly to your local computer, then upload it in the upload plugins as shown above.
- Lastly, it can be done internally by following the steps below:
- Click the plugins,
- Choose the Add New,
- Search for SwipePay
Installing the Plugin
Installing the SwipePay plugin can be done in two ways based on the method via which it was downloaded. if it was downloaded via WordPress by search, click on the install now as shown below.
Otherwise, you upload from your local storage.
Setup and Configuration
After the installation of the SwipePay plugin, take the following sequential steps:
- Click the WooCommerce item link on the sidebar,
- Click on the Settings from the list-view,
- Click the payments from the tab-view that appears,
- Scroll down to enable the SwipePay. Pay in 6 - SwipePay by clicking the radio button,
- Finally, click the "Setup" button to the right which changes to "Manage" after the setup has been done.
Click on the radio button and then the setup button to set it up.
Providing Merchant Details
The page above comes up after the previous steps has been successfully followed. This page requires the merchant details as tabulated below.

Merchant ID | YES | The unique ID assigned to the merchant while registering. This can be obtained on the merchant dashboard. |
Merchant Token | OPTIONAL | The merchant's authorization token. |
Callback URL | OPTIONAL | The URL to fallback to after the process has been concluded. |
Title | YES | This should be the name at the name of the payment method chosen at Setup and Configuration section. |
Description | OPTIONAL | A description of the merchant. |
Instructions | OPTIONAL | Instructions about the Merchant Solution if needed. |
